"Landscapes of pressure", by Kathrin Golda-Pongratz

The photobook “Landscapes of pressure — Paisajes de presión” by Kathrin Golda-Pongratz opens up a new perspective onto the landscapes exposed to pressure by the Eurovegas project in Spain, showing the agricultural lands of El Prat de Llobregat during the negotiations over the possible construction. The photographs, recently exhibited at the Fundació Miró Museum in Barcelona, are a reflection on territorial policies, processes of urban development and the productivity of a territory in its multiple facets, including an essay by the art critic Carles Guerra.

The presentation of the book is on the July 1, at 7.30 pm at the COAC (Plaça Nova 5, Barcelona), with the participation of our co-director Sandra Bestraten and the interventions by Azucena Arango Miranda, Manuel Delgado, José Luis Oyón, Ramón Ribera-Fumaz and Andrés Walliser.
