The annual AESOP congress organized by the Association of European Schools of Planning as a platform of exchange in the fields of research, education and practice in urban planning is taking place in 2014 in Utrecht and Delft in the Netherlands from 9-12 of July.

Under the theme From control to co-evolution, The Congress will address what it would signify to move beyond the need for more participatory forms of planning towards planning as a reciprocal and deliberative decision-making process. In addition to the host of outstanding speakers from the field, those interested in participating in any of the 17 thematic tracks are encouraged to submit their papers in relation to any of the given themes. Submissions for maximum 1000-word abstracts are now open and due by January 1st 2014.

Good luck!
