This Thursday October 10th at 7 pm, don’t miss LSE professor Ricky Burdett who will give a talk at the COAC (Colegio de Arquitectos de Catalunya) in Barcelona. Ricky Burdett is an international leader in the field of urban planning and will speak about the role of cities in the global economy. He is professor of Urban Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), director of the LSE Cities and the Urban Age and author of The Endless City.
Presented by the mayor of Barcelona’s Habitat Urbano Antoni Vives and the dean of the COAC, Lluís Comerón, Burdett will be joined in a roundtable discussion by chief architect of the city of Barcelona Vicente Guallart, founder of Barcelona Global Maria Reig, president of APPLUS and member of the Executive Commission of Barcelona Global Joaquim Coello, and political and social analyst Oriol Molas. The conference will be in English and offer simultaneous translation.
