If your interest is in informal cities, you may want to check out this compendium of stories from 6 cities that aims to spark a conversation on how to build inclusive and resilient communities. Over the past year, the online magazine Next City has chronicled stories from the informal realm as part of The Rockefeller Foundation’s Informal City Dialogues. Through photography, film and well over a hundred blog posts, those stories became a running narrative of the lives of informal workers and settlers in Accra, Bangkok, Chennai, Lima, Manila and Nairobi, offering a window into the lives of street vendors, slum-dwellers, waste-pickers, even home-based beer brewers.
