Our next open lecture hosts the collective Punt 6, a local women’s organization based in Barcelona focused on rethinking cities, neighborhoods and architecture with the aim of eliminating discrimination. Punt 6 promotes cities that reflect the diversity of our society by building inclusive spaces and also analyzes the implications of experiencing cities, towns and neighborhoods from women’s perspective. The collective’s main activities include research, participatory processes, training and capacity-building and co-development. They develop and implement participatory tools aimed at including women in the urban planning process and building their capacity to improve the urban environment.
