An upcoming conference series curated by our faculty member Kathrin Golda-Pongratz, the “City and Memory Trialogues” is a first-time edition that brings together experts, artists, activists and national and international initiatives together in Barcelona using a trialogue format, open to the public, to reflect on contemporary ways of focusing, transmitting and materializing memory in urban contexts. The series will take place from 21 to 24 November at the Born Cultural Center.

Pongratz is an architect, urban planner and urban researcher focused on issues of participation and urban memory, and previously inaugurated the International Conference on the Right to the City last May.

Talks will be simultaneously translated (catalán, spanish and english) and are free to attend.
