This year, once again, our students spanned the globe to complete their internships with diverse organizations in the field of design and development. These ranged from large institutions like UN Habitat right here in Barcelona and university-based programs like the Center for Public Interest Design in Portland University, USA, to NGOs like Habitat for Humanity in Puerto Rico and Observatorio de Favela in Brazil, to smaller practices like ASA Studio in Rwanda (founded by one of our alumni).

Architecture for Humanity’s office in Haiti also took on two of our students this year, where one of our former students was incidentally finishing up her work there as Urban Designer, having stayed on with the organization after completing her internship there as well.

Read about Nazanin’s experience working at AFH Haiti, and a more recent interview with this year’s students Pia and Alessio during their internship there.
