Interview with Clara Irazabal

An interivew with Clara Irazabal, former director of Columbia University GSAPP’s Latin Lab, during her two two-week workshop “Learning from Latin American Cities: Planning and Urbanization” with our students. The Caracas-born architect and urban planner talks about what motivated her to work on social justice issues through her profession, how spatial practitioners can contribute to solving the world’s pressing urban issues, and what keeps her coming back to our master’s program every year.
